1. Payment Terms:
a. An upfront payment of 50% of the total estimated cost is required to secure your flooring and carpet fitting services.
b. The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion and satisfactory inspection of the installation.
2. Payment Methods:
a. Payments can be made via electronic bank transfer or Visa/Credit cards.
b. Bank details for electronic transfers will be provided upon request.
3. Confirmation of Booking:
a. The booking will be considered confirmed upon receipt of the initial 50% upfront payment.
b. A confirmation email or receipt will be issued upon successful payment.
4. Cancellation Policy:
a. Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled installation date may result in the forfeiture of the upfront payment.
b. Cancellations made with 7 days or more notice may be eligible for a partial refund at the discretion of BC Carpet Fitters.
5. Additional Costs:
a. Any additional materials or services requested beyond the initial agreement will be invoiced separately.
b. Payments for additional costs are due within 7 days of the invoice date.
6. Late Payments:
a. Late payments may be subject to interest charges at 2% per month.
b. Failure to settle outstanding balances within 7 days of the due date may result in suspension of services until payment is received.
7. Dispute Resolution:
a. Any disputes regarding payments or services should be communicated in writing within 7 days of the occurrence.
b. Both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably through negotiation or mediation.
8. Warranty:
a. Our flooring and carpet fitting services come with a 12 month warranty against defects in workmanship.
b. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within 2 days of the discovery of the issue.
By proceeding with the upfront payment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined above.
